About Me
Welcome to Guter Mannes Hirt also known as The Good mans shepherd. We are a small family owned and operated breeding facility. We are located in south central Pennsylvania. Our main goal is to produce the highest quality German shepherd for police K-9, schutzhund, search and rescue personal protection, and as family companions.
We are not a mass breeding facility. Our motto is quality not quantity. Every breeding is carefully researched and selected to ensure the best temperament, health and working ability of each dog. All of our dogs and puppies are well socialized, and they can be taken anywhere. Every puppy before it leaves our facility is well socialized with children, and they undergo a very extensive temperament and social skill testing to be match perfectly with their new owner.
