About Me
Winsome Weims is dedicated to breeding high quality field, show, and hunting weimaraners. Our world wide imported bloodlines have been crossed with the some of the finest U.S. field and show lines to produce a beautiful hunting dog with excellent conformation. Our dogs have been featured on Bass Pro Shops "The Next Generation TV show two years runnning. We strive to breed an even tempered dual potential dog that can compete in any AKC event whether it be field or show. We believe that a Weim should be able to excel at many tasks but they are first and foremost a hunting dog. Sadly, today many breeders are only concerned about conformation and we are at risk of losing the traits that make this wonderful dog a great hunting companion. We do our best to make sure we are producing a well rounded dog that is able to excel at many diffrerent skills. We are proud members of the Weimaraner Club of America and are active in field trials, shows and hunt tests. Please feel free to contact us about our dogs or any questions you have about the breed.
