About Angus

14 weeks

Big floppy puppy, Angus, is available now to find his forever home!

Angus is 3/4 Anatolian Shepherd, and 1/4 Akbash - both wonderful livestock guardian dogs. At his last vet check up he weighed 34# at 12 weeks, and is growing like a weed! His older sister (from a previous litter) weighs 110# plus at 11 mos old, and his daddy is rather thin at 120# (runs it all off at night...he absolutely Loves to run!), so Angus has the potential to be a very large dog, and he has the Big feet to prove it. His daddy is a working dog, and patrols the farm at night, then comes to curl up in his chair during the day...he is an incredibly loving, and loyal dog. This breed combination creates wonderful guardian dogs, but also just beautiful and loving pets as well. We love our big ole dogs, and we wouldn't trade them for anything. Angus was raised in the barn with his momma, but since his last 2 brothers headed off to their new home, we've had him in the house with us - he is such a joy! He has always been one of my absolute favorites, and is such a happy, and uncontrollably floppy bundle of puppy love!

He has received all three rounds of his vaccinations, and has been on a regular deworming regimen. I will not ship my puppies, so it would be necessary for you to pick up your puppy, or meet me within a reasonable distance from my home to retrieve him. I do this for two reasons: 1) Flying puppies is very stressful on them, and they are not taken care of/can be lost and forgotten over the course of the flight and transfers...they are emotional little things, and this can greatly affect their behavior. 2) It is healthier for the puppy to transfer from my hands to their new owners hands so they trust their new family and situation...and to have an all around happier puppy. If you are able to arrange transport, I will consider this, but I do not think this is the best thing for a puppy to travel alone in a scary situation and environment. I realize I am a big baby...but then, so is Angus. I want to protect him, as I'm sure you would too.

I ask for a $100 deposit to hold Angus for you. I accept Paypal and Venmo, and I am available for any questions you might have at (660)973-6261

I excited to hear from you soon!
