Knute is the perfect family dog. He’s friendly and inquisitive. Trusting of people and easy-going. He takes to training easily and is eager to please. He approaches strangers and other dogs willingly and enthusiastically. Knute scored mostly three’s on the Volhard Puppy Aptitude test. With his sire’s size in mind, we think he will be about 30 pounds as an adult. Right now we are working on loose leash walking, recall, and exposure to new situations, people, and dogs. He is the whole package; brave, sweet, excited to see you.

If you have never met a Kooiker you are in for a treat. This is a medium breed that has a spaniel look with red and white coloring. As adults Kooikers have longer soft wispy hair that is low maintenance and low shed. Smart and easy to train, these dogs are often seen in agility, obedience, barn hunt, and dock diving, to name a few. This is a really unique breed coming from a family home.
