We have found the mix of Newfoundland with the Great Pyr diminishes the constant need to bark; yet they remain wonderful guard dogs and family pets. And the Pyr diminishes the drool of the Newfie. Sweet loving giants. Sire is 165 lbs and Mother is 135; Mother had dark brown markings as a pup but out grew them and they are light tan or badger markings just like her Sire.
