Our babies are 100% English Golden Retriever, parents are imported and derive from extensive multi-championed titled lines. Daddy's lineage alone offers generations of SOLID champions at least TEN generations back! The pedigree is far too much to list but please ask for a link to the pedigree! Babies are a beautiful light cream color, almost white and will have very mild dispositions that are pleasing, attentive, and spirited.
They receive early neurological stimulation (ENS) from 3 days old, and we continue with enrichment exercises and extensive socialization until they are ready for their forever homes. This process ensures they are confident and secure puppies and ultimately assists in laying the foundation toward the remarkable temperaments our puppies possess This, along with them having full-time care and the phenomenal genetics, is ultimately what sets our babies apart!
We pride ourselves on choosing our breeding dogs for top health, temperament, and beauty that conforms to the breed standard. Our dogs are selected from champion lines with health clearances SIGNIFICANTLY BEYOND what is recommended by the AKC and the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). We breed dogs from the very best lines to improve the breed and continue a heritage of excellence in the breed.
Our adults have substantial health testing as we have significantly surpassed the “standard” by testing for everything available to private individuals including: OFA testing: hips, elbows, cardiac, shoulders, patellas, dentition, thyroids, eyes, and DNA genetic testing for genetic diseases Goldens have a predisposition to including: Golden Retriever muscular dystrophy (GR-MD), Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), Progressive retinal atrophy: Type 1 and 2, (PRA 1, PRA2) Progressive retinal atrophy Progressive rod-cone degeneration(PRA-PRCD), Degenerative myelopathy (DM), Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), Sensory ataxic neuropathy (SAN), Ichthyosis Type 1 & 2, and Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5 (NCL5).
We are family operation that is proud to now be raising our own seventh generation of puppies!! We have over 55 combined acres for our dogs to have extensive room to exercise and play! I have been a small breeder for over 30 yrs. and I do not/will not run a kennel type of operation; no cages, kennels, or crates!! Our dogs are in our home and have free access to fenced areas as well as open run of the fields daily. Our retired dogs are not placed elsewhere, they, as well as all our breeding dogs and their puppies, are our spoiled family companions that we treasure.
This is not our source of income as RESPONSIBLE breeding brings major expenses, both emotional & monetary and pride, accomplishment, and joy to what we offer others—definitely not a steady paycheck! Our puppies are highly socialized in our home with children, cats, birds, & other dogs. I am home full-time as raising puppies is a FULL-TIME responsibility! I am extremely dedicated to my dogs, and the futures of their puppies. Ultimately, we offer a considerable amount of daily interaction with our puppies as they are born and raised in our home and are heavily handled and socialized several times daily.
