This handsome fellow is Slinky! He loves to play, but takes nap time very seriously. Most days, he can be found lounging around cuddled up in his bed, cuddling up with his toys. He wants nothing more than to be by your side. He will make a wonderful companion for his new family. Slinky is a very healthy little boy. Slinky will come current on his shots and deworming and microchipped too! Did you know that Dachshunds come in two different sizes! Standard and Miniature, they also come in a variety of colors and can be long hair short hair or a medium wire coat! They originated in Germany, this dog was historically not intended to become the easy-going lap dog it is today. Dachshunds were bred to be badger-hunting dogs, with their sensitive sense of smell and low-to-the-ground stature. They are curious and friendly in nature.
