My name is Rick Slavens and I own Noble Companions. We are a specialty breeder of World Class German Shepherd Working Bloodlines. We usually breed one litter per year. Our pups are hand raised and know how to behave around family, kids & furniture along with the strong drives, temperament and nerves needed for first class working dogs. We are located about 60 miles west of Colorado Springs. We believe the German Shepherd Dog is the Most Loyal Companion and Greatest Protector a family can have. Our bloodlines are exclusively from the Czech Border Patrol Breeding Program, which has the most untainted breeding bloodlines in the world today. This litter between Rocco NK9 Norrishaus and Zeva von der Gauss was born on April 20th, 2015. Zeva had a total of 8 puppies which includes 3 females. As of 06/07 we have (2) males available. Here is a link to this litter's pedigree: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2357931-zrc-01-von-noble Here is a link to our Puppy Portfolio, which describes the history of the GSD, the Czech Border Patrol Breeding Program, and a six generation pedigree. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxL6k4Sx49DnSVlpaVNwRHdIa3M Here is a link to our Puppy Handbook which details how we raise our pups, etc… https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxL6k4Sx49DncDRlTUdsemVOdWM Common Questions When will the pups be available? The last week of June, 2015 What type of training will they undergo? House training, Kennel training, vehicle training, some leash work and basic commands Family manners, socialization with other dogs & cats. How much do they cost? Up until the pups are ready to be shown to the public (at approximately 6 weeks) - $1500.00 After we start showing the remaining puppies to the public, the price is $1800.00 What colors does your breeding program produce? Our most prevalent color is sable, ranging from a light honey brown, to a deep & dark sable, with a few silvers thrown in. We also produce solid blacks. Sometimes we will see a 50/50 ratio of sables & blacks, but most of the time we see an 80/20 ratio, sables to blacks. What are the average sizes and weight of your full grown dogs? Rocco is at the large end of the specs - 95 lbs Zeva is on the smaller end of the scale, weighing in at 65 lbs. Most of her pups (2 litters now) are on the larger size. The females should be 75-85lbs full grown and the male will be 85-100lbs. They are NOT oversize shepherds but true to the ideal working shepherd. Has your breeding program had any difficulty with Health issues (hips, eyes, bloat etc.) We have not experienced any issues except for Pannus (an immune mediated corneal disease) in one set of grandparents. It is believed to be caused by UV light, which we have in abundance in Colorado due to elevation and the snow's reflective properties. We are now using “Doggles” with our adult dogs. Do you breed for working lines or show dogs? Working lines only Do you ship? Yes, we have used Delta airlines many times. Young puppies (9-12wks) can usually be shipped in the continental US for around $450.00 One last question... Would it be possible to send some current pictures of your available dogs/pups? Sure. But look at our Facebook page. We post pictures of all our litters and many of the new owners post pictures of their dogs as they grow. You will also find many of them MORE THAN willing to talk to you about their dog! www.Facebook.com/noble.companions Feel free to give me a call for a list of references or just to talk puppies.
