Weimador Questions

Is there a difference between a Weimador and a Labmaraner?

Not much however the prominent traits are generally what define the difference; Labmaraner has stronger lab traits and Weimador has stronger Weim traits.

Should I let my Weimador puppy sleep in our bed or in her crate?

That just depends on each familiy and their preference. I know several families who allow their puppy/dog to sleep in bed with them. I also know several families who only allow the puppy/dog to sleep through the nights in the crate. It really only depends on what you want. Weimadors are such an amazing family dog aren't they....we love ours!

Our Weimador slept in bed with my partner when she was a pup. She cried otherwise. She later crate trained beautifully but we also had a geriatric dog as a mentor for her. Lots of exercise has been key to preventing separation anxiety during crate training for our Weimador.
