The cost to buy a Biewer Terrier varies greatly and depends on many factors such as the breeders' location, reputation, litter size, lineage of the puppy, breed popularity (supply and demand), training, socialization efforts, breed lines and much more. Review how much Biewer Terrier puppies for sale sell for below.
The current median price for all Biewers sold is $2,250.00. This is the price you can expect to budget for a Biewer Terrier with papers but without breeding rights nor show quality. Expect to pay less for a puppy without papers, however, we do not recommend buying a puppy without papers.
Looking for a dog with a superior lineage? Are you trying to determine how much a puppy with breeding rights and papers would cost? You should expect to pay a premium for a puppy with breeding rights or even for a puppy advertised as show quality with papers. You should budget anywhere from $4,300 upwards to $8,900 or even more for a Biewer Terrier with top breed lines and a superior pedigree. The average cost for all Biewers sold is $1,800.

Before buying a puppy it is important to understand the associated costs of owning a dog. The annual cost or "upkeep" is often overlooked when determining a Biewers true ownership cost. When calculating your budget make sure you account for the price of food, vaccines, heartworm, deworming, flea control, vet bills, spay/neuter fees, grooming, dental care, food, training and supplies such as a collar, leash, crate, bed, bowls, bones, and toys. All of these items can add up quickly so make sure you estimate anywhere from $500 - $2,000 or more for the first year then about $500 - $1,000 or more every year thereafter to meet the annual financial obligations of your growing, loving dog.

The Biewer Terrier is a purebred dog created through the occurrence of a recessive piebald gene in two Yorkshire Terriers. By breeding the two Yorkshire Terriers together and getting the piebald puppy, it is then bred to another piebald puppy from a different line to create its own breed, the Biewer Terrier.
There are only 3 kennel clubs where the dog can be registered as a purebred dog. The American Kennel Club (AKC), the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), and the United Kennel Club (UKC). The Pedigree Booklet is to allow you view all the information about your dog and where she came from. Check it out and review the registration numbers with the proper Kennel Club that the dog is registered with. If all checks out, then there are her correct papers.

The Biewer Yorkie is pronounced -- "Bee -- you -- er".
Biewer is pronounced Bee Va.
Biewer is pronounced "bee-va" like diva. It's the way you pronounce it. I am a breeder of this breed. The "w" is "v" sound in German.
Biewer is the last name of Mrs Biewer in Germany. I am from Germany myself and know other people with the same last name "Biewer". It is pronounced like the animal "Beaver" Exactly the same.
Biewer is pronounced just like the animal Beaver, I visited Mrs Biewer in Germany and that is how she says her name.
People say "Biewer" is "B va". but I really think it is "B va with a slight r sound at the end "B va r". Go to a website that you can hear someone pronounce it and let us know what you think.
I agree it is pronounced like a beaver with a twist. (accent) LOL But when you say that people look at you like YOU don"t understand or they don't understand! .However, that is the French originator (The Biewers) that started breeding the line in Germany years ago when finding this special gene! Now, they are being recognized in the US/ AKC etc. but again very rare!
It’s pronounced Beaver because the ‘w’ is German and Biewers are A German breed although most people recognize it was “bee-you-er” because that’s the Americanized way to say it.
The latest national dog show said AKC recognizes them this year and just called them Bee-ver.
