The cost to buy an American Bully varies greatly and depends on many factors such as the breeders' location, reputation, litter size, lineage of the puppy, breed popularity (supply and demand), training, socialization efforts, breed lines and much more. Review how much American Bully puppies for sale sell for below.
The current median price for all American Bullies sold is $2,000.00. This is the price you can expect to budget for an American Bully with papers but without breeding rights nor show quality. Expect to pay less for a puppy without papers, however, we do not recommend buying a puppy without papers.
Looking for a dog with a superior lineage? Are you trying to determine how much a puppy with breeding rights and papers would cost? You should expect to pay a premium for a puppy with breeding rights or even for a puppy advertised as show quality with papers. Before buying a puppy it is important to understand the associated costs of owning a dog. The annual cost or "upkeep" is often overlooked when determining an American Bullies true ownership cost. When calculating your budget make sure you account for the price of food, vaccines, heartworm, deworming, flea control, vet bills, spay/neuter fees, grooming, dental care, food, training and supplies such as a collar, leash, crate, bed, bowls, bones, and toys. All of these items can add up quickly so make sure you estimate anywhere from $500 - $2,000 or more for the first year then about $500 - $1,000 or more every year thereafter to meet the annual financial obligations of your growing, loving dog.

If your dog is a purebred and is registered with a Kennel Club, such as the American Kennel Club (AKC), Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), or the United Kennel Club (UKC); then yes you can. Your registration number will be able to give you access to the linage of your dog. However, if your dog is not a pure bred or is just not papered with a register-able kennel club; then unfortunately no you can not. The only way to do anything really is to have your dog DNA tested to see if your dog is pure bred or if he/she is a mix of two or more breeds.
The 'pocket' version of the American Bully is not supposed to weigh any more or less than a class American Bully, only to be shorter in stature.

In short, no. You should not breed those two dogs together. It is the same concept as if two step children had children together. The risks of genetic mutations, deformities, behavioral problems, ect. are way too high. If you love the American Bully breed, then you will be a responsible breeder-to-be and make sure one of your dogs is spayed or neutered. Then get your breeding prospect dog completely health checked before looking into getting a mating partner that has no genetic relations to your dog.
Yes however it is not recommended for inexperienced breeders. It is a inbreeding and typically used to tighten up on genetics. I wouldn't recommend breeding them if you are new to breeding and haven't done your research. You also must know their strengths and weaknesses you dont want to breed 2 dogs that share the same faults.

No, they are three separate breeds. APBT (American Pitbull Terrier ) are what most people think of when they see a pitbull. These dogs are generally medium sized dogs, their structure consist of a lean muscle and powerful frame. American Bullies did descend from the American Pitbull Terrier, and or the American Staffshire Terrier, however; they have evolved into their own breed. American Bullies should be more bulkier, with heavier frames. American Bull dogs, are also a breed of thier own.
American Bullies are an off breed of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Documentation shows the true American Bully was created by hand-picked, heavier "bullier" looking APBT puppies added to breeding programs creating a different standard of breed with a different purpose. Mainly to perform in the confirmation ring and in society altogether. There are 5 varieties of American Bullies, Classic, Standard, Pocket, XL and Extreme. The American Bully is far from and APBT but every ancestor documented in the lineage is a pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier. Both the American Bully and APBT can co-exist in the same household with the proper training and consistency. Both are very smart and willing to please. American Bullies were bred for the show ring and APBT's were bred for catch dogs and athleticism. If you want a companion either breed is a great choice, if you want more athletic animal go for the APBT. If you want a dog that looks amazing and requires less exercise then go for the Bully.
http://www.packofpitts.com/bull-reclassification American Bully The American Bully developed as a natural extension of UKC registered American Pit Bull Terriers mated with AKC registered American Staffordshire Terrier; different varieties of the same breed based on bloodline history. In addition, speculation has been made by the UKC, the original registration office for these dogs, that the breed was influenced by the infusion of other bull breeds that have not specifically been identified. The breeders of these dogs have developed the dogs for a specific build and temperament so unique, that it needs to be recognized as a separate breed. Dogs from bloodlines known for producing dogs exhibiting these physical characteristic currently registered as American Pit Bull Terriers within the ADBA stud book will be moved to the designation of American Bully as the breed. Per ADBA:
They are a mixture of different bulldog breeds. English , French , American , Alapaha , Olde and APBT and Amstaff.
There is no one answer to describe the disposition of an American Bully. The can be very loyal & loving, very strong willed or they can be docile. They can be very active or they can be couch potatoes. This breed is a very intelligent breed that needs more human attention and interaction than most breeds. They are great with children and always want to be touched.
A *true* American Bully should be confident, loyal, and affectionate to all people and animals (although sometimes same-sex aggression can occur in intact dogs). Make sure you buy from a breeder that makes temperament a priority! I would also suggest getting a different sex than what you already have, and doing the initial introduction in neutral territory (at the park, at a friend's house, etc). Bullies enjoy moderate exercise.
