How does an Advertiser become ID Verified? |
|
There are two options:
1. INSTANT APPROVAL: Equifax (US based credit bureau) works with NextDayPets.com to confirm members’ identity by cross-checking their contact information using consumer and business databases. You must enter information such as your name and date of birth. You will also need to identify certain installment and credit accounts, and their associated monthly payments. The ID Verification process is not a credit check, the credit information is for identification purposes only. When your information is successfully verified, you will receive an ID Verify icon in My Account and on your ads.
2. DELAYED APPROVAL: Electronic Check also known as E-Check. Verify your identity by providing your US based checking or savings account information. You must access your bank records to validate two small deposits into your account. This process may take 2-4 business days before the two small deposits appear in your account. Once verified you may also withdrawal your PetPay transactions using direct deposit directly into your checking or savings account.
***To Become ID Verified:
1. Register for a Place Ad account here: http://www.nextdaypets.com/placead/
2. View My Account and follow the onscreen instructions to become ID Verified.

Why
Should an Advertiser Become ID Verified? |
All advertisers are now authorized through
an ID Verify process securely provided by
Equifax Identity Verification or E-Check verification. The process
is quick, secure and does not have an effect
on your consumer credit file or consumer
credit score.
If YOU are an honest person and not a scammer
you should have no hesitation or problem
becoming ID Verified. An ID Verify seal
will be displayed next to your ad(s). |
| |
Why is NextDayPets.com now requiring Identity Verification? |
NextDayPets.com

for all of our customers. ID Verify significantly
decreases Internet fraud and our buyers

What
is ID Verify? |
| ID Verify is a process offered securely
by Equifax that performs several checks
tied to your consumer credit file, including
verification of your social security and
driver's license number, home address and
telephone number. In addition, a soft inquiry
is made into your credit file to verify
your identity. You will need to identify
certain installment and credit accounts,
and their associated monthly payments. The
ID Verification process is not a credit
check, the credit information is for identification
purposes. Your personal information is cross-checked
against consumer and business databases
for consistency. When your information is
successfully verified, you will receive
an ID Verify icon in your ad(s) and your
member profile. |
| |
How
much does it cost? |
Equifax Approval: There
is a $5.00 non-refundable application fee
that grants up to (2) attempts to passing
the ID Verification Assessment. Once you
pass ID Verify you will receive (1) FREE
featured ad.
E-Check Approval: There is a $5.00 non-refundable application fee. You will receive two small deposits into your account along with a $5.00 debit for the application fee. |

Is
the information provided secure? |
Absolutely.
- Your privacy is important. The information
you provide NextDayPets.com and Equifax
is used for verification purposes only.
The ID Verify process is not a credit
check and has no effect on your credit
rating.
- The transfer of your information to
Equifax is protected by a secure 128-bit
encrypted SSL connection provided by
Verisign.
- Equifax does not update the information
that you provide through NextDayPets.com,
but only compares it against existing
information in their files to verify
your identity.
- Equifax cannot add information into
their database that recognizes you as
an NextDayPets.com member or that you
went through the ID Verify process (except
for auditing purposes, as required by
law). Also, they cannot make any notation
in their database that the information
provided was confirmed (or not) with
the information in their databases.
- Though the ID Verify process is not
a credit check, you are asked questions
involving your credit information. Only
you should know the answers to questions
about your credit. Therefore, asking
credit questions is a security measure
that protects you from someone else
attempting to get verified with your
information.
|
| |
Does
ID Verify affect my credit rating? |
| No.
Absolutely Not. ID Verify will not affect your credit rating;
it simply makes a soft inquiry into your
credit file to prompt you with questions
regarding your credit history. |
| |
Why
does Equifax ask personal financial questions? |
| "Out
of wallet" identity verification is the
only way Equifax can ensure people are who
they say they are. These types of questions
are not easily stolen and cannot be found
in standard wallet data. |
| |
What
if I have multiple advertiser accounts on
NextDayPets.com? |
| You
may Link
Accounts. This means you only have to
become ID Verified once through any one
of your advertisers accounts. Please note,
when you Link Accounts your account contact
information will be updated for all linked
accounts. You cannot have multiple accounts
with different account contact information.
If you do not link your other accounts then
they will become inactive. |
| |
What
happens if I change my account contact information? |
| If
you need to change your name, address, phone
number or other contact information found
within the Change My Account Information
tab you must remove ID Verify from your
account. After removing ID Verify you may
go back through the ID Verify process to
update your account contact information. |
| |
What
determines a pass/fail ID Verify rating? |
Equifax: Based
on the number of correct answers you give,
Equifax assigns a score to your application.
Authorized advertisers must score a 90 or
above and have no flags for suspicious activity
in the past to receive a "passing" rating.
E-Check: An advertiser must validate two small deposits made into their checking or savings account. |
| |
What
happens if I do not pass the Identity
Verification process? |
Equifax: If
you do not score a 90 or above on the Equifax
rating scale and/or your registration triggers
an alert by Equifax, you will be granted
(1) more attempt up to (2) for passing ID
Verify, the $5.00 application fee will not
be refunded, and you will not receive the
free featured ad. Not passing ID Verify
will not affect your credit rating. If this
happens, please attempt to become ID Verified
using our E-Check ID Verify system explained
below.
E-Check: If you cannot confirm the two small deposits or made a mistake entering the deposit amounts or your drivers license or personal information does not match the information on your record at your bank we will grant you (1) more try. If you fail twice then you may try to become ID Verified using Equifax (above). |
