Use Advantage monthly to kill fleas within minutes. The active ingredient is imidacloprid, which acts on the nervous system of the flea to cause paralysis and subsequent death. Advantage stops biting fleas in three to five minutes and starts to kill adult fleas within an hour after application. Within 12 hours of application, 98-100% of fleas are dead. This is important because flea bites can lead to skin infections, cause discomfort for your pet, lead to allergic skin reactions, and can even transmit other disease-causing organisms, including tapeworms.

You won't need to use another flea control product. Advantage kills fleas before they lay eggs, so their life cycle is broken at multiple stages. It also kills flea larvae within 20 minutes of contact.

Application Instructions
Please be sure to read the following instructions carefully before applying FRONTLINE Plus to your pet.

Step 1: Remove one dose applicator tube from package. Administer the entire contents of the tube that correctly corresponds to the body weight of the dog.

Step 2: While holding the tube in an upright position, remove the cap from the tube.

Step 3: Turn the cap over and push the other end of cap onto the tip of the tube.

Step 4: Twist the cap to break the seal and then remove the cap from the tube.

Step 5: The dog should be standing for application. Part the hair on the back of the dog between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Do not apply an amount of solution at any one location that could run off the side of the dog.

Step 6:
 • For dogs less than 20 lbs: Place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin at one spot between the shoulder blades.
 • For dogs larger than 20 lbs: Place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin at three or four spots on the top of the backline from the base of the neck to the upper back in an area inaccessible to licking.


Advantage Red is for dogs 8 weeks of age or older and weighing between 21-55 lbs.
