At North Country Kennel, we breed Goldendoodles to mature between 20 and 60 pounds, depending on the size background of the parents.
Our Goldendoodles inherit qualities from the Poodle and the Golden Retriever, creating a dog that is social, great with kids, exceedingly intelligent and easy to train, and fun loving. Most Goldendoodles, inheriting strong retrieving instincts from both breeds, are also wonderful retrievers, and many enjoy hunting as well.
Most of our Goldendoodles are non-shedding, a trait we can generally determine at about 6 to 7 weeks of age. A few are low-shedding. The non-shedding Goldendoodles satisfy the need for a low allergenic dog for families with allergy issues.
We generally work with blonde, gold, or red Goldendoodles, but because Poodles come in a variety of colors, we occasionally will breed for darker colors and multi-colors as well.
Our puppies are guaranteed, health and temperament too, including a 2 year congenital health guarantee.
