I have been breeding AKC Chihuahuas since 1963. The American Kennel Club informed me that my kennel, according to their records, is the oldest Chihuahua kennel in the US. I have, over the years, kept my own females to put back into my kennel. I DO NOT purchase outside females to introduce into my kennel. I purchase excellent quality, AKC Chihuahua males to introduce new blood into my operation. As a result, I am in control of the superior genetic quality of my dogs. My pups are small with the average weight at maturity being approx. 3.5 - 4 pounds. Most of my pups are show quality. I have Chihuahuas all over the US, neighboring countries and some in Europe. Many of my pups have been shown to their championships by their owners. Many people purchase my pups to improve the genetic quality of their kennel.
I live on a ranch in Texas and my dogs are all in extremely large individual pens so they have lots of room to run and play. Exercise is important to the health of my dogs. I DO NOT cage any of my animals - they are free to run and play. I do not keep any older females. I give my females away to good homes when they are about five to six years old so they can live out their lives as house pets.
My kennel is very small with approximately six breeding females. I have both long coats and smooth coats. I produce blue merles, chocolate merles, ring necks, solid colored and spotted Chihuahuas. I have approximately ten to fifteen pups for sale annually. By the time they are ready to leave the kennel at approximately 12 weeks, they are potty trained to the grass, have been wormed several times, have had their first shots, beautifully socialized and ready to go anywhere in the US to bring you lots of love and laughter. If you are in Texas or neighboring states, I will meet you have way. If the pup is shipped, I usually ship out of DFW, Dallas. There is an additional charge of $300 for shipping which covers airline fees, rabies shot, regular shots, vet health certificate and shipping a shipping crate.
