Which Breed Should I Look Into?

I am looking for a small-medium sized dog. I have a ton of neices, nephews, and small children around me a lot, so he/she would have to be good with kids. I want a dog that doesn't need too much exercise. Indoor type. I don't really care about AKC and championship bloodlines and all that, I just want him/her to be playful and happy and I want to spoil them. And I don't want to buy for more than maybe $100. Any ideas? Your oppinion will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

A chihuahua-type (teacup) of breed will do. Usually, this breed is usually seen at home. He is usually playful to kids. Sharpeis are number two in the list. They are also seen at home and does not require exercise much.
