Why is The Forum not the place to post warnings or questions about Advertisers?

1. Your message may be considered libel by the Advertiser and grounds for a lawsuit.
2. We require each and every Buyer to become educated with the process of buying a dog online. Anyone may report suspicious activity to our support staff for investigation. It only takes one serious complaint for an Advertiser to be banned from selling on NextDayPets.com.
3. To protect the Buyer from reading a message about a particular Advertiser then continuing with the transaction without further research.
4. The Forum is meant to discuss topics related to pets.

What happens if I've had a transaction go bad?

Both Advertiser and Buyer are required to conduct thorough interviews and use secure methods of payment when buying or selling a dog online.
It is advised to report bad Advertisers and bad Buyers to http://www.ripoffreport.com/. Shall your transaction go bad you MUST inform the NextDayPets.com support staff and consider legal action. Consider using an online resolution dispute service such as http://www.SquareTrade.com.

Both Libel and Slander are grounds for legal action.

What is Libel?
Libel Defined: Published (written) material meeting three conditions: The material is defamatory either on its face or indirectly; The defamatory statement is about someone who is identifiable to one or more persons; and, The material must be distributed to someone other than the offended party; i.e. published; distinguished from slander.

What is Slander?
Slander Defined: Oral (spoken) defamation, in which someone tells one or more persons an untruth about another which untruth will harm the reputation of the person defamed.

What defines Criminal Law?
Criminal Law Defined: A malicious defamation expressed either in printing or writing or by signs or pictures, tending to blacken the memory of one who is dead, with intent to provoke the living; or the reputation of one who is alive and to expose him to public hatred, contempt or ridicule. It has been defined perhaps with more precision to be a censorious or ridiculous writing, picture or sign, made with a malicious or mischievous intent.
Those whom do NOT follow the rules of The Forum will be banned from posting on The Forum and open themselves up for legal ramifications. YOU are responsible for your actions! These rules are here to protect the Buyer, Advertiser and Forum user.
Additionally, by posting in the forum means you agree to the Next Day Pets, L.L.C. Terms of Service http://www.nextdaypets.com/terms.aspx.
