A situation has arose that brought to mind a question of how do I know the difference between a Bichon and a Maltese? I have looked at pictures on this website and cannot see the difference by my untrained eye. Is there any telltale indicators? Thx

Yes Bichons are heavier boned broader shorter legged and there coat is very different Curly/Wirey a Maltese is Small fine boned with very fly away stright hair but there are alot of unethical breeders out there and will tell you anything if in dought Request a D.N.A. @ breeders cost So you don't get Scamed There are even breeders that mix the 2 breeds and call them what they need to Good Luck
