Hey everybody! Back again to update you all on what’s goin on. Thanks to your feedback, we’ve made some recent adjustments to make life easier for all of you.

First of all, we’ve removed a lot of the information required to reply to a listing. Users used to have to input their country, time period to buy, phone number, and postal code. It is much simpler now, requiring only a name and email.

We are also simplifying the required information to mark your ads as “sold”. We will be requiring only your buyer’s email address. I assure you that this is both to the benefit of the advertiser and the consumer. We will NEVER spam your buyers. The only reason we request the buyer’s email is so that we can send them a coupon for a puppy pack, and/or information on pet health insurance. They will not be automatically signed up for our newsletter and will not be sent any other promotional material unless they request it.  So, the consumer wins by receiving a discounted rate on our Puppy Pack, which is already a great deal, and the seller wins by receiving money every time one of their buyers purchases a Puppy Pack.

We have teamed up with Trupanion Pet insurance to help you attach incentives to make your puppies more attractive. You can offer your buyers a free month of the peace of mind that comes with Trupanion’s $20,000 limit for coverage. Just saving money for the possibility of a pet health emergency is a great idea, but what if something happens sooner than later? In the event of an accident or severe sickness, a dog owner can be expected to pay thousands of dollars to ensure the health of their pet. So many dogs are abandoned every day because of exorbitant health care costs. We are trying to make a difference and lower that number by making pet health insurance more available, and helping more people to know that it’s here to help.

We are also in the process of streamlining and improving our Puppy Match service, so stay tuned for more information on that.

As always, we thank you sincerely for your feedback. We are better every day because of your input, and hope that you continue to offer your helpful advice and commentary on the issues you encounter.

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend!

I just was using on line chat and was told that there is no longer a $5.00 cost for the one month insurance. Which is correct?

My fault!!!!!!!!!! You are absolutely correct! As of a brand new policy
change we are no longer charging breeders to provide the free month of pet insurance.
Thanks to Pup759 and all our other forum readers and posters for always keeping us straight!
