We are going out 0f town for a day. The wife wants to bring our Dog with us, but we have had issues in the past (there is a larger Dog and kids at the house we are going to). I want to leave Chelsea at home. It may be as long as 12 hours and I know I might have to clean up a mess or 2 but I think it is better than breaking up a Dog fight or soothing a crying child. Will our Dog be ok? |

How old is the dog, what breed and has it been left alone in the past? Does she chew or bark when left alone?
Is there a neighbor or someone who can come over once or twice and let her out? |

Hire someone to come in and take care of her. You can't assume she will just potty in the house while your gone. She may not and its not a good thing for a Dog to hold their stools for that long and some dogs can and will do it.
Ask around I'm sure someone will be willing to help. |

We've got a nice neighbor who comes and lets our dogs out when we are gone for most of the day. |
