part 2!
From what I know and read I will spend quality time alone with each one but not sure about the crating. I will try to stick as close to a schedule as I can. That will mean they both will be outside, fed, and puppy kindergarten at the same times but also played with separately. I read I should place the Alpha dogs food bowl first on the floor. However, shouldnt I be the Alpha of this pack? I want so do everything right. I dont want animosity between them or to love one another more than me. Two years of pain, misery and laughter is ahead of me but all of this too, will pass. I hope a life time of companionship and love with my dogs. Question 3: When we attend puppy classes should my husband and I switch between the Puppies each week. I will probably be the one reinforcing what they learned but hubby will also be playing a big part. Question 4. Full AKC will be given for each male but I want them as companions and not to mate. Would their personalities be better if they were neutered? Question 5 They will be nine weeks old when they start puppy kindergarten. The trainer said this is a perfect age to start training. Is it? Sorry this is so long but I left a lot of questions for another night!!!!!

I would post a new topic if I were you. Get them fixed. Is there any way you can get 1 female instead of 2 males? I would check out some puppy training videos at your local library for now and until they have had all of their puppy shots. You should get a jump start and decide how you will be training them when you get them. Don't wait until they are 16 weeks to start working with them. Don't have the Puppies shipped. Go to see them before you finish buying them. Make sure they are supposed to be yours before you get them. 600 miles is not too far when you think about all of the years they will be with you.

Stay committed and you will do great.

Thanks Ducktape for replying! It is too late to choose a female from that liter for all of them are sold. We are picking the Puppies up over Easter weekend by car. They are enrolled in puppy kindergarten starting April 2. I feel that I will be doing everything to allow these little guys to have a fun, enrich life. I am going to copy and paste my questions to a new topic! Thanks again!
