Hi,
What is the right way to potty train Diva. We are almost there, I think. But I'm not even sure if I'm doing this thing right. I just grab her while saying no Diva and running towards the door. By then there's quite a trail of evidence left behind. The problem is I love Diva, and I want to do things the right way. Any suggestions? |

The right way is to not wait till she is peeing to take her outside. You need to be proactive not reactive. Take her out every thirty minutes she's awake, right after a nap or eating. Praise her when she goes outside.
Before you know it you'll figure out what "her" rhythm and when she needs to potty.
Keep her confined when you are not playing with her.
good luck.
P.S
Be sure to clean those pee trails really well. |
