| Quote christinadorris: What about liquid dish soap, like Dawn? I heard that it is good for killing fleas. The Flea/Tick shampoos never seem to work. |

liquid Dawn is perfectly safe to use on animals. wildlife rehabbers use it all the time
it was used on all the birds from the Valdeez oil spill.
as ND said - it is the lather that suffocates fleas. lather them up good & you can flea comb them out if it makes you feel better |

ph levels aside, dish detergent is a lot stronger harsher soap than any shampoos that I have ever used unless they were 'stripping' shampoos.
Has anyone ever been camping or what ever and used dishsoap on your own hair a couple of days in a row? That crap dries out your head and hair VERY badly.
I use what ever shampoo is handy. Sometimes I use Dog shampoo, sometimes I use Vo5, sometimes Aussie. Boxers have sensitive skin and I have never had an issue. |
