Yes this whole thing is bull, thank god im a "non trusting person" when i was looking for a puppy about 2 and half years ago i saw the add. The puppy had names named magi (magnus) for full name. And other other one is rose. I just kept thinking it's to good to be true. well my mother in law and her sister told my wife that she was getting this puppy, and they names weere the same. the pictures were the same. and the story was pretty much the same. he's gotten smarter...lol I decided to play along and he send me pictures of a older white male. Posing in a suit. it looked like he pulled those pictures right out of a sears catolog!!! Lol. Thank god i stoped her. she was going to send this money out this weekend. and the puppy was going to arrive in toronto canada airport.....hmmm hmmmmm.......im calling someone.... |

Actually, i am located in Western Victoria Cameroon , where i will be shipping the Puppies to your location, which they will be delivered right at your door steps in a crate and all play toys, with a 1 year health guarantee. But, before i give this puppy to you, you are to promise me that, you are going to always take him/her out or a walk, take proper care of them, and always send me recent pictures of them. They will be coming with all work papers, food menu. They are AKC registered, and on all recent shots up to date. ITS A SCAM!!! SOME NICE LADY SUPPOSEDLY IN THE PEACE CORPS TOLD ME THAT I COULD HAVE HER ADORABLE MALTESE FOR FREE AND ONLY PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK TO THE STATES. I ACTUALLY CONSIDERED IT BECAUSE MY LITTLE SISTER WANTED IT BUT THEN SHE WANTED ME TO DO WESTERN UNION. AT FIRST I WAS GOING TO BUT I BACKED OUT. THEN I SAID I WANTED TO GO THROUGH THE PET CARRIER. I THINK IT IS A FAKE WEBSITE TOO AND THEY EMAILED ME AND EVERYTHING. I CONTACTED THEM THROUGH THE WEBSITE AND THEY VERIFIED IT WAS THEM BUT THEY STILL WANTED ME TO DO THE WHOLE CASH THING. THANK GOD I LOOKED ON HERE AND FOUND THIS BECAUSE FLYING A MALTESE FROM CAMEROON SEEMS TO EASY ANYHOW LOL. AND I THOUGHT I'D BE DOING THE PEACE CORPS A FAVOR..HAHAH. |

I have been emailing also on an ad for teacup yorkie Puppies for free. Same scam they emailed me back using three different email addresses and asking the same info. I am glad I found this blog before I did anything stupid. Here is one of the emails:

Hi, I was reading a local free for sale website in my area (El Paso TX) and came upon an add for 2 free yorkie Puppies. The add basically stated that they lived in Cypress TX and that they moved into an apt that didn't allow pets. They wanted to give them to a good and loving home for shipping fees only. ($210.00), I answered the add and they took awhile but came back with that there was only one puppy and that they were working with an agency that would transport the puppy to me. I was going to be within 50 miles from where the puppy supposedly was this weekend and stated that I would be happy to come and get the puppy in person. They said they couldn't hold the puppy. Each time it was through emails, and I repeatly asked for their number so that we could get the details worked out. There was always a long space between emails and therefore I started to suspect that something wasn't right. I actually confronted them and told them that I believed that this was a scam and not a legitimate transaction. Low and behold, I get a phone number, but immediately know it is overseas.......they stated that their phone lines were messed up and this was the number to the carrier. I called it and the individual had a heavy accent and began to tell me that it was going to cost me $480.00 for the certificates and insurance. I would receive a refund of the insurance when the puppy was delivered to my front door. I told the carrier that I didn't believe that was correct and that I was going to email the customer and find out about it.....they wanted me to send the money through MONEYGRAM which is an immediate red flag. I then googled the phone number and sure enough it was in Africa. I am one of the lucky ones that didn't fall for it........I hope that everyone remembers that when it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. |

I fell for the exact same thing! I sent the $250 and expected to receive my Puppies yesterday, but then they called me saying that I needed to send $557 for "Refundable Insurance". I said there is no way I'm sending that money. Not only am I upset that I'm not going to be getting my yorkies, but it makes me even more upset to think how excited my son was to finally have a puppie!!! I wish there was something that we could do to stop these people!!  |

thank the Lord I found this. I had this little teddy faced yorkie waiting at the airport to be flown in, they arranged the flight and I would reimburse them to show they were ligetimate, well then I get we can not finish the flight information because the refundable flight insurance has not been paid for, and a new air conditional crate needs to be purchased, thank you Douala international airlines URGENT This will be $465.00 and it will be refunded immediatly once she is arrived to you and you sign for her. I am so glad I was just about to run to the Western Union and send the money in fear this beauty was setting at the airport then I am recieving e-mails well it is like 3 in the morning there what are they still up for because last time at 1pm they said it was getting let. Topper is the live in the same state as me, they are just on vacation and took the yorkie with them to stay funky and fun on there trip and do not have enough time for her on vacation in Cameroon where they are vacationing. YA right you live in Idaho too but never returned where supposidly in Idaho and a phone number to reach you in Cameroon, but my word should be assurance enough for you then I get a call from the airlines assuring me that is what it is and get this is is the acutal doctor that checked her to make sure she was ok to fly. |

Yes, I do know that we made a mistake, but it was just out of innocence. We had no idea this kind of stuff was going on.
1. Who cares how much you pay for a puppy? As long as you love it and care for it as much as a "richer" person. Quite frankly, I believe I could probably take better care of it. I already have 2 other dogs who are spoiled. One we got free, the other one was about $400 or $600, something like that.
2. I'm just a teen, so where the crud am I supposed to get more than $200 for a PUPPY! It's a PUPPY! I thought, at first, it was a good deal.
3. No one in my house even noticed the scam warnings, nor did we think anyone would do such a thing.
4. At first, I thought he wasn't bad like the others. After talking to him, I started doing research.
5. If I want a puppy I can afford, I sure as crud can't buy one in the USA! Prices are pointless and outrageous!
6. Yes, I blame myself. I never sent the money, though, nor do I care anymore.
a. I have to get something AFFORDABLE because I'm NOT made of money unlike some!
b. I DID do my homework along with my mom as we swapped emails with the guy. He was just so convincing.
c. What the heck is a veterenary reference?
d. The websites are wrong. They know it's happening but do nothing. They won't do anything until they get something out of it.
e. Western Union is money happy. (Irony, haha.) They don't care as long as they make money.
My mom told the dude to get a PayPal and other various stuff but he kept avoiding things and making excuses. Did anyone else get an email about the Puppies named Harley and Cassie?
 People who do this, especially using animals is mean. What if I was a four year old who never had a puppy? If we would've went through with it, and it never came, I would cry and be dissappointed.

yorkies in cameroon...Please DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!! These people are scammers, they want your money...They are sending these "puppies' through a virtual airport....(get it, no puppy
)...I have been coressponding with two different people, they are very pushy..the dogs names are lisa and ramsey...Anyone else trying to sell them to you as well? I located our airport and gave the the info that these people gave me which was simairport.com...No such airport...
Believe me folks, I think having a puppy like this would be a dream come true, but before you go sending someone you don't know, please I urge all of you to do some investigating of your own, Like I did, before someone steals your money and possibly your identity too!!! Be safe, and look around your own local area before making a huge mistake...God bless to all who have fell victim to this horrible thing that is happening!! |

Don't punish yourself!! You are not the bad person here!! I'm from AZ and almost fell for this!! I posted something hope it's posted here so you can see how evil these people are. Thanks to God I did not pay anything but I was close...tooooooo close!! I wish you the best and hope you find a darling puppy. Me... I'm goig locally, my darling family and me will travel to Tucson to a local breeder to find our puppy. I really hope there is something we can do to put a stop to this. I'm an RN in psychiatry...still can't figure people out!! So don't be sad..it happens to all kinds of US!!!!

This also happened to me. I got a message from them stating that they had moved from reno nv to cameroon for work & could no longer keep her babies Daisy & Princess (teacup Yorkies). She even included pictures. Like all of you all i had to pay for was shipping. She showed concern & even ask me to e_mail her & send pics of her babies with there new family.
The Puppies were supposed to fly out this morning @ 9am there time. needless to say the airline called me asking for more money $850 exactly for the refundable insurance.
This is when i woke up & realized that i had been duped. Yes i know im a dumb as$, please dont rub it in any more. I feel bad enough as it is (this was my anniversary gift from my husband).
I e-mailed her back & told her that they were asking for the money & that i couldn't afford it.
She e-mailed me back & asked me what i could afford, i told her nothing & that i wanted my money refunded.
I havent heard from her since.
I hope that this helps someone else not get scamed & to all that did i understand your frustration & pain. |

i may be mistaken here but i didn't think there was such a thing as a "teacup" anything.if i am right about this plse everyone just note that anytime somebody advertises free anything chances are too good to be true. |
