I am from the Dc metro area and an ad was placed for $300 yorkies. i know yorkies are waaay more than that especially a female yorkie! this was the initial response:

cont: i knew my gut feelings were kicking in and decided to google these foolz especially the name that payment was suppose to go to
JACKPOT!! NIGERIAN SCAMS popped up. im so glad it did cuz i wouldve arrived at the airport mad as heck. since ive discovered that scam i ran into a couple more. one guy claiming to live in silver spring, md which is like 25 min away wanted me to WIRE MONEY to some fool in CAMEROON. what sense does that make. needless to say i sent this scammers an email they would or should NOT forget!! |

Just yesterday I came across an ad on xxxxxxx for a young yorkie puppy. The ad said the girl had the puppy in Alberta but when she emailed me back, she told me she had moved to cameroon. Right away I knew it was a scam. For kicks I replied again and asked if they could send me some sort of confirmation before I sent them any money. Instead of responding to me about that, they simply said they liked my response and out of all the replies they received, they believed I sounded the most mature. I emailed them again specifically asking for confirmation, and have not heard back yet, but I am interested to see what they have to say. Its heartbreaking to know that some people buy into this and get scammed by people all over the world. As many have said before me, buy locally. See what you are buying in person before you give anyone, any of your hard earned money. Best of luck to all of you!

Also, to all of those who look down at people who have been scammed in the past, who are you to judge? A lot of people on here comment about how if you are looking to get something for nothing, you got what you deserved. I totally disagree. There are many families, who sometimes come into situations where they can no longer care for their pet. In this event, they will sometimes consider giving their pet away, just to see it go to a home where it can be properly cared for. Why shouldn't someone benefit from this situation? Looking for a deal on a pet, does not necessarily mean you cannot care for it properly or that you deserve to get nothing at all. However, everyone should keep the 'buyer beware' motto in their mind at all times when you get a pet for free or cheaply. Everyone makes mistakes, and when looking for a pet to make a part of your family, it is easy to get emotionally attached before you even have the pet in your possession. |

I was messaging a woman who had suppodely lived in TX and then moved to douala cameroon. I got emails from the pet delivery agency, and the airlines, but everything was so unprofesional, so I looked it up and everything was fake. I also got calls and it was the same person from the sender as well as the airlines, so i sent the money , thank goodness i found out in time before they could get the money. Never send money if they are asking Moneygram or Western Union. |

So I saw this post in the newspaper "Two Female yorkies For Adoption/Free" was the title and this was the Description "Two Female yorkies For Adoption/Free Hi ,i currently have two female yorkie angels for adoption both 12 weeks of age.they are both home raised and am not a breeder myself .they have all their shots from birth and are both akc reg.mail me for more details about them if interested.thanks" so I emailed her for info and this was what I got back within minutes
Hello Dear i am very glad on your interest on my babies, they are called kitty and Mimi are 11 weeks old respectively. They are Akc and Vet and would make very good house hold pets. So i am giving them out for adoption only to a good and loving home because i do not have much time for them so thats why i am giving them out they are very sensitive Yorkshire Terrier Puppies and portray the following:-
-They eats 2 times Daily and have adapted to that.-They take to order like when you asks them to lie down.
-They are Hand Fed,Dna tested and USDA Standard. -They had made a 15 days stay in Quarantine so they will come directly to your homes after delivery.
-They are AKC ,CKC,UKC, and are potty trained. -They are not nuded and i hope you will take care of nuding them
so that they become very more adapted to you, and they both like Kisses
- kitty weighs 4 ibs and so is Mimi and are both T- Cups and will be full grown approximate 5 or 6ibs my estimations. -they will come in a Ventilated crate and Blankets for Cold,So i am Located in Victoria Cameroon and the flight to you will take a 7 hours 30 minutes duration and that will be a very comfortable one for them. So Please i will like to know the following from you to see if my babies will be in good loving home
1:Are you Married? 2:Do you have kid(s) if yes how many? 3:Do you have a large yard that she can play in?
4:Are you a breeder? 5:How soon do you want her,will you care for her?
6:Whats Your Full names and where are you located? 7:What do you do for a living and do you want them both or only one if one please specify (kitty or mimi)- Sorry for asking such questions to but i am just trying to look a good and loving home for my baby.their pictures are as below. firstly you have Mimi and the last one is Kitty So i wait on your response.

go to google and do some research on cameroon/ nigeria.... ..extremely dangerous 3rd world place...this is a way for these people to survive. lets face it...when was the last time you bought a Dog from a bunch of natives???? |
