Hi, sad to say the same thing happened to me with this same situation about the yorkies, I also got played for a fool, but whoever else this happened to we should all get together & stop this before it continues I already contacted my local news station & I also contacted a laywer. This people need to be stopped they are conducting fraud online & stealing people's money. |

I got scammed too...i`m glad i saw this because i almost fell for it. it was an offer for a TEACUP yorkie in CAMEROON!The person replied right away when we e-mailed. they said that they wanted us to have the puppy so they sent pictures and asked us to fill out a thing with our address and stuff. When i showed my aunt she got suspicious about the e-mail  it said" right after you fill this out we will tell you where to send the money" She told me to research and i found this website...then i found the same Dog on 8 different websites trying to "sell" it! Some dope even tried to change the name in the description but ended up using two different names for one Dog 
I feel bad for whoever falls for this scam...BUT WE DIDN'T! |

I just got the same e-mail, the ad was in the Madison Classifieds and I thought she'd be in wisconsin. When I fund out Cameroon, I googled where she was. This is the response... there was no way I'd pay for shipping since the Dog was only $60 to begin with. And why was she selling a Yokie for only $60. Something wasn't right. Then I stumbled across this site and now this is a hoax!

I know this has nothing to do with the yorkies but . I have a story to tell . I was looking through some local ads that were selling English Bulldog Puppies when i emailed them they stated that they could no longer keep the Puppies do to some missionary work in Nigeria , West Africa .So i thought to myself and said why would you take Puppies to another country thats just plain out dumb ?

The breeder you contacted regarding the adoption of my English Bulldog Puppies forwarded your email to me , the babies are still very much available for adoption . I would only be interested in given out the babies to a very good home that can afford to take proper care of the Puppies , I am giving this lovely babies out because i have been sent to an African Country to serve as a Missionary .

Report everything to the authorities. It may help to put pieces together so that they can stop SOME people from doing this scam, at least for a while.
You likely will never see your money again however.
Be careful in the future. |

I've seen this offer in a number of different newspapers across the country. (my husband and I do a little traveling) It seems consistent that they offer an email address and not a local phone number. I've always wondered why anyone would respond to that as it would seem a suspious way to try to find a home for a puppy. But here's an idea, if you are interested, have them write your name on a piece of paper and take a picture of your puppy with that paper, or use today's date and the local newspaper showing the healines....it's 'proof of life' issues. NO ONE that you cannot see face to face should be considered reliable. Once you start making reasonable requests, a scammer would back off and look for easier targets. It's possible to 'lift' pictures off of nearly any internet source, but adding something to the picture that you request is much more difficult if they don't have the pup |

I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!! Be careful of the (name edited). I feel so stupid. I can't believe I fell for it. I hope future people look at this site before considering doing the same thing I did. I have definitly learned a valuable lession. |

I can't beleive they edited the name that I put on here by the person I was scammed by. I think that evey name that tries to scam people should be public for future people to watch out for.

UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! i cannot believe that this issue is still being spoken about...here it is in a nutshell!!
1. people who look for a very cheap puppy don't need one!
2.you get what you pay for(ever heard the old saying?)in this particular case!! you get NOTHING!!
3. there are postings ALL OVER the net about these scams..actually..right on the wessites you are looking for a puppy on.
4.these scammers from cameroon..nigeria..do not speak or write like we do..HELLO!!!!
5.there are too many Puppies on the sites to choose from without going to cameroon !!! or brazil..or anywhere outside of the good ole usa!!
6.here is who you can blame for this!!
a. blame yourself for trying to get something for nothing.
b.blame yourself for notdoing your homework.
c. blame yourself for not checking the sellers veterinary references.
d. blame the websites for allowing this to go on....and not monitoring properly.
e.most of all..blame western union...they know exqactly whats going on here and are profiting from it heavily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent her 150. for shipping she said not to send the 90 till the Dog was in my hands. I should have known something was up but i guess i just wanted the Dog so bad i put blinders on to the truth. I just hope that this will help someone else and keep them form making the same mistake.
She emailed me and then told me that the shipping co would contact me with details of her shipping. I really wish I would have been able to find this posting yesterday when I was looking for scams and such to make sure everything was ligit.

All papers may say she is mine but I am not sending any more money. If you want more money you need to talk to the lady who brought her to you to ship. It was in our agreement that she would take care of the shipping fees on that end. There for any fees it takes to send her is the senders responsibility not mine. thank you and have a great day.
