I was just invloved in a scam out of Benin republic in Africa they told me that he was a missionary and that he could no longer take care of the english bulldog. I had just lost my bulldog over the weekend and was felling vulnerable. I can not believe these poeple exist. I don't know. Maybe this was because of the sad story about the man not being able to take care of his dog anymore. There are plenty of dogs here, in the USA, who are in shelters because their owners couldn't or didn't want to take care of them anymore. There's also plenty of English Bulldog breeders. I don't know why all of these people who post "I GOT SCAMMED!" messages here just had to get a dog from Africa.

Where I live in Kansas there is a free add post at edited And every so often I surch threw it. Just a hobby of mine. Well there are always a few adds in it saying English Bulldog puppies for sale $400 to $650 and sometimes less. I have replied t these adds just to see what they say. And yes they are from camaroon africa. All of the pets transportation is included in this price. Now before you jump. Think! Transporting a pup cost atleast $230 to $300 So you know it has to be a scam... Now if you look at the price differince you should know something is up with the lesser price. Come on! You probly will find bullies at a cheeper price but mine are about avrige. You will also find the at a much hire price. Its up to the buyer who he wants to buy from. Good luck. edited by maoseger1010 per forum rules about adverts.

Excuses excuses. That is what they all say. I read it and found it to be directly advertising and dropping hints to people about your litter.

Yeah she gave the website ( a freebie one) and stated that hers were the ones that were X amount of dollars. And that she was expecting them due in October. Not pitching a sale my A$$

One should assume that if you have to resort to posting messages on a forum about an upcomming litter of pups then the breeder probably doesnt have a wait list. RED FLAG Anyhoo... back to the OP... If people would research the breed they intend to purchase, they wouldnt get scammed.. Its as simple as that. I dont feel for these people who get scammed.. Call me cold I dont care.. I did my research before buying a dog, why cant everyone else? Theres absolutely no excuse for it.. If someone is gullable enough to think they breed Yorkies, Bulldogs and any other "hot" dog over in a third world country, then you deserved to get taken. I often wonder if people even know where Cammeroon is located? One thing I know.. Its better these jokers take your money than you buying from a puppy mill... But then again I suppose those that get scammed will purchase froma mill the next time around..

Once again I dont even have a cheep websight. Is it possable to bring back what you edit? And I agree on the scam. I researched my breeds but my down fall was not reserching the breeder. I know now the questions I need to ask. Oh the red flag thing. I do have a waiting list. But this is my first bulldog litter and I dont know how many she will have. so no I am not seling any untill I know what I have. The one I have on hold is a friend of mine that wants one and has been waiting for my female to come into heet. Thanks

If I was a complete idiot who sent my money to Africa (or any other country) on the belief that there was a $200 puppy with free shipping, I would advertise it to the world. I'm going to start advertising Unicorns for sale. $300, free shipping. Just Western Union the money to The Jerk Who Deserves It More Than You Do PO Box You're An Imbicile Moronville, 12345. Or call 1-800-PAY-FOXY.

If I were to scam as many people who have posted here saying they've been scammed, I'd share with everyone in this forum. Except the idiot I scammed, they deserved it for sending me money for a Unicorn.

I also fell for it. They said she was working for the Peace Corps. I easily could've found out. I think the reason I didn't is because I wanted it to be true. She was giving away an English Bulldog. And I knew that they were easily 2000 so I only had to pay the shipping fee... Yeah well.. they never shipped him. I figured it out right after I sent the money, but it was too late, by the time I called Western Union, they had already picked up the money. But, luckily I did find a lady that wasn't a scam, and ended up getting a beautiful, sweet french bulldog instead for 300. So i guess I can look at it as.. I still got a dog at a discounted price.. of 600.. more than I wanted to pay, but still decent.

You got a FRENCH bulldog for $600 dollars???? I can almost guarentee you did NOT get a pure bred frenchie. I looked at some that were $1200-1400 and they looked like mutts. Check those papers sister, I think you have been had! And by the way, I REALLY do have unicorns for sale and they are a LOT cheaper then foxfires!

It is the time of year for puppy scams. Buyer beware! A friend lost her 300.00 deposit for a puppy that didn't exist. She reported it to the police and they said they had a hundred complaints about the same cell number. Never found them. Now they advertise in local papers with an e-mail address. They send you a picture and tell you where to send the deposit. What a shame!
