I just wanted everyone to know about a e-mail i recieved from cameroon. I want to adopt a yorkie puppy, but thank god i did my research first. ----
Thanks for the mail, i am sorry i can not transport the Puppies when the transportation fee is not yet paid though i understand your fears but if only you can believe me this is not one of those scams okay.Take a look at the Puppies and let me know the one you are interested in? I am giving them away for no cost because i am not a breeder or out to make money from them and due to my job i cant care for them.
Dont worry about the questions, I also have some. I have a lot of pet experience over the past several years. I love dogs and have always adopted my dogs from the pound. I now have a 55lbs. mix breed that has Addison and has been quite ill. Having another Dog around would really help her. Dont worry dogs do not pass Addison to one another. You can look it up on the internet. I live with my fianc on five acres where we built a new home. I do not have any children yet, except for my dog. I have fallen in live with the yorkie Puppies and would love to adopt one. My questions to you are why are they at no cost for adoption? Why are you finding homes for the Puppies. I am fine with you bringing the dog, but do not want to pay any money up front. I have read about too many scams on the internet. I did not see an attachment of pictures of the Puppies. can you please e-mail the pictures again. Thank You

No dont do it, they are fakes, trying to steal money, never buy Puppies from Cameroon they are all frauds! Once you pay they will ask for more, look do this pretend you send the money, (IN THE AFTERNOON) that way they wont be able to get it because everystore over there is closed, they will say they have it, and soon they will ask for more for stupid reasons. |

It looks like I should have read this before I made my purchase last night.
I was reading someon elses letter from a scammer in cameroon and it was just like mine. I feel absolutely horrible. I guess I was kind of nieve to think that it was even smart to have a Dog shipped that far.
Does anyone know how to stop this? I am heart broken. It looks like a lot of people are getting scammed by the same people over and over. Here is one of the email addresses that I found. and Here is one of our lettters. Let me know if it looks familiar to anyone.

I found some scammers...all 3 from Cameroon, Africa. Never trust someone who says they are doing some oh so holy missionary work in Africa its just a way to gain you trust and get you to spill your credit card information. This one guy actually went far enough to say that he lost his wife and daughter in a car crash, and is crippled.

What is wrong here. These are all scams. Doesn't the US have enough homeless dogs that need good homes. Why do people mess with ads from Cameroon?

Well.... In the United States you normally can't get $800 PLUS yorkie Puppies for free. They are not free.
You can't get English or French Bulldogs for free. They are not free.
That is how people are lured in to the scheme. They just have to pay shipping. Then...they send their money and get nothing in return. |

All week I have been communicating with a lady that has ads @ many puppy sites.This lady was offering me 2 teacup yorkies,1 female & 1 male. These babies were adoreable, she has pictures
also & a small slide show.
Well when it came time for me to send her the transportation fee of $135.00 per pup, I decided to check out the transportor," NEW Cameroon Victoria" !!!
I had heard horror stories in the past about animals being shipped to place. Well then I found out all about this scam,"THANK GOD"' & I have yet to let her

I also found this scammer is also advertising about other Puppies with diff. info.
Please be careful, as I have heard so many times today, "NOTHING IS FREE", especially a so called registered teacup puppy of any breed!

I also have been told I can not end this that the scammers are to smart.

Yup they got me too I sure do wish I had read this before I had sent my $250.00 western union. It feels so terriblre to be scammed. I had the guy from Camroon who said his wife and daughter had died in a crash and he was crippled how discusting is that. Is there no way to stop this guy it seems like he gets a lot of Naieve people I just wish I had listende to my gut instinct and said no way. |

But the ads are all from US states like California, South Carolina, and Texas. Then they get you in email after you go through everything, they say they are from Cameroon, Nigeria, etc. That's what happened to me. They said in the ad they were from my state but then after they told me the Western Union adress I knew where they were.  |

I, too, have been scammed by these creeps.Luckily within an hour of Western Unioning $265, i found out and was able to cancel the transfer. I feel stupid and now my 2 year old is pretty bummed.
Here is the first email I got from this lady...does anyone know if they can do anything with your names and address? That kind of creeps me out...they won't get my money but what WILL they do?

I actually wrote an email asking about the tea cup yorkies and I looked on google to see where it was she was transporting them from because i had never heard of the place and it took me to this site. Im glad I didnt waste my money on a FAKE dog. this is the email I received which looks and reads alot like the ones I have seen just change of Dog names but they all seem to be 12 weeks old...hmmmm.

I just sent a reply a moment ago. I thanked all of you for your help about the Puppies. I was trying to get a puppy for my daughter that wanted a yorkie terrier so bad. They told me that they were in Garland Tx I am about 3 hours from there and they said they could get the puppy to me in 6 to 7 hours. Whatever. Well anyway I thanked all of you for your help. I'm so so so soooo grateful I did some research and found this forum, letting me know the whole ordeal was a scam. I had a feeling the offer was to good to be true, but became enthralled when I found the ad. I didn't go through with the payment, thank god; but I still gave out my personal information (name, fiances name, address, etc.) and now I feel like a big airhead. No reciprocations can come from giving simple information like that, can there? |

I just wanted to let everyone out there know that I was almost scammed too. These scammers sent the same letter to me that they sent to all of you. This is un-believeable that these people are still able to post these scams on these pet sites. Why hasn't anyone done anything about this yet? This is really a sad thing that the price to own a pet is so rediculously expensive, that people are just looking for a cheaper price, and get scammed for it. I am sure that alot more people would rescue pets from petfinder, if they didn't have to give thier first born, and a left leg, and have the FBI come and inspect their home just to rescue a dog. Anyway, just wanted to give you all a heads up.....DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE! I was lucky enough to find this forum before it was too late!  |

I'm so glad I found this sight. I have been talking to this woman for a few days noe on getting a puppy from her and I have insisted on not sending her any money until I get the puppy. But now I've lost my hopes on ever receiving the puppy. Supposedly the airline sent me an e-mail, it was from cameroonairlines_petsservice(at)rocketmail(dot)com. Does anyone know if this is legit? Well, I'll keep you guys posted on wheather or not I receive my puppy wiyhout paying up front first. If you have any info please let me know at yaya_1268(at)yahoo(dot)com. Apparently the person trying to scam me got smart!! I emailed to find out the age and size... and cost. It was listed just as a yorkie (not a "teacup"), she avoided my questions and asked me about my home, work etc to make sure I'd be the right home. Then she emailed me back... with the same basic script. Except it made no sense... as soon as I saw Cameroon...
