I think if you have enough time and space and can afford the expense of a second dog then go for it.

Well.. Gee, I guess so... if thats what ya want.. Honestly, how can anyone here tell you whether or not to get another dog? We know nothing about you nor your living situation..? Do you live in a house? or an Apt? Is your dog friendly? how do you think he/she will act with a new dog around?? Financially, are you able to take on another animal, and all the $$ it takes to keep a second dog happy and healthy?

Ummmmm........let me get this straight...........you already have a husky and a lab also? Another husky will be quite a load but the choice is yours. Let us know what you decide.

The reason why asked about the relationship is that often times two dogs that have been together for many years form a tight bond to each other then when one of them passes on, the other one may become very depressed.. Dogs have very similiar feelings as humans.. they actually mourn. I was thinking that since your lab is older, maybe you should wait to get another dog. If your lab has any health problems, the last year or two may put a dent in the pocket book.
