well, if she would have had a legitimate case and a good attorney then she wouldnt have. no one gets sued for no reason

because you say the hartz killed your cat, but your cat had cancer. so i am just trying to figure out what proof that you have that your animal died due to the shampoo or whatever it is you used. if it was one of my dogs or my cat i would have taken them to the vet, got an autopsy, a statement(if that was the reason) and then started about dealing w/it through the company

did your vet give you a statement that the hartz killed your cat?

Quote sheltie22: maybe not a week but she did get cancer. its been a long time i cant remeber when she got cancer but she got cancer

ok you said that it was not a week that your cat got cancer, but in your last post you said the chemicals were too strong and she got cancer. so how long did she have cancer before she died? cancer can kill your pets if it is not treated and still can after that.

my point is that i have used all sorts of hartz products, and know very many people that do and i have never heard of anything bad happening. i called our vet just now and they said there is nothing wrong w/hartz. maybe you should contact them.

An allergic reaction sounds likely as a possible effect of the products, but not cancer.

thats what i thought, i dont think a shampoo would kill your Dog or cat overnite, unless they ate it.

I'd suggest not only contacting Hartz themselves but the retailers that carry it. All medicated substances have the potential for allergies (very sadly, sometimes fatal) but pulling them all off the shelves is a poor idea. Trying to get labels warning of the possibility of an allergic reaction put on would be a good way to take action, though.
