Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum. I'm looking into adopting a 4-month-old lab/golden/pitt puppy from the Humane Society here in town. I learned from the caretaker there that they don't feed them one particular type of Dog food because they depend on donations. What do you guys recommend as far food goes? My family has a purebred Toller and we've fed him Canidae, but it's just so expensive. Anything you guys recommend?? |

I would feed the Dog what ever it had last and slowly switch over to what you want. That way the Dog won't get sick. I prefer Nutro Natural choice but it is expensive. You may have to try a few kinds to find out what the Dog will even eat. Just ask what the last kind of food it was fed and start w/ that. |
