hey, i was just wondering who saw the thing on news 12 about the lady with all the Puppies in her basement? thats so sad to see. and coincidently i was goin to look at Puppies from a private breeder that day but as soon as i saw that i called up the shelter they we're staying at so i could look at them first. i would rather get a Dog who needs a home befor getting one that aready does and will have one no matter what. But i was shocked when i called up and the lady told me 600 people already put in applications for them. so hopefully all the dogs will find good homes and the care they deserve now  |

 600 people needing a puppy?? there are only 12...what about the other 588 people?? where will they get their puppy?? just think if...shelters were to do some advertising and community outreach...how many homeless dogs would be in homes......there is much more that could be done. wouldnt it be wonderful if in order for veterinarians to get their business licenses, that it would be MANDATORY!!! for them to offer so many free spay and neuters per month?? you would think that they would offer..but...once again...its all about the almighty DOLLAR!!!! |

I would say that if 600 people really did apply for those Puppies. the shelter is fairly well known.
and if all the people that are not appropriate homes for Puppies got an adult dog, it would help too
I'm sure it was a bit of an exaggeration tho. |

there we're 56 Puppies taken out of the home..and even if the those people who did apply didnt get one of those Puppies or dogs i'm sure they would be happy to adopt a different one who needed a home. and i highly dout the shelter lied or exagerated about the number considering the amount of other dogs that do need homes also not only those. |

at least it is good to know that 600 people are planning to adopt...and this is ALL that matters in this situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
