As most of you know, I am trying to get my little dairy farm on its feet. Though consumption of raw milk has become a thing no one really things about or sees the benifits of, I thought I would post this link. I personally think that we should be able to eat and drink what ever we wont except illeagle drugs of course. I don't think that its the goverments job to say we cant eat or drink things that are not highly processed, after all wouldnt the human race have been wiped out by now? We didnt have fridges to keep things cool back in the day, pasturizing was not even thought of.

This is just one of the many ways the government over steps there boundaries. I use to drink milk right out the holding tank as a kid, I'm here and very healthy. If my family still farmed my kids would be doing the same thing. Anything that you can get in its most natural state is better for your body then if it were processed. |

I do not feed into everything that the goverment is so gung ho about.
I would much rather drink milk from a cow that wasnt juiced up on all sorts of hormones over the milk purchased at the grocery stores.
Another thing that really irritates me is that the whole "organic" thing costs so much more. I think this is unfair.
Alot of the things we are seeing today are a result of the things that we are putting into our bodies.
My mother always says you are what you eat and that you get out of it what you put into it. |

The link was removed so I can't look it up. Are they regulating what you use for your own family's consumption or are you planning to sell milk? I don't know too much about it but I think it all started back when tuberculosis was a big problem and people were getting it from cow's milk from cows that hadn't been tested and the government just sort of ran amok with the regulations. |

Aparently news articals are now against the forum rules, funny how it was aproved then edited.
anyway, if you would like to read the story you can email me kabukienot@yahoo.com or google homesteadingtoday and find it on there.
You can get a permit to sell raw milk, this guys issue was that he couldnt sell raw milk products, like cheese and butter and you have to go through a bunch of bs to get the permit, another words they make it almost not worth while. |

It seems that everything is now against the new forum rules. Including stating fact or personal beliefs.
I did notice that as well. It was approved with the link, but now the link is gone. Nice! |

Funny? No not really. We work as a team and if one of us misses something the other catches it. The new report was fine but the site it was posted on was not.
No news articals are not against the rules, advertising of any kind is. You can copy and past the artical here if you want to. This is not new we've been telling people this for a long time. But I'm sorry for the confusion. |

Well if those personal beliefs and opinions were or bordered on attacking another poster than yes I'm sure they were edited. Just because it is my opinion a poster is a dork does not give me the right to post it to this site. |
