I'm trying to figure out as much information about Papillons. If you want to comment onthis-could you also tell me what size the normal papillon is, and a little information about the breed. I've read the breed information on nextdaypets, but I've heard things that contradict it. If you own, or know a lot about the breed, could you just give me an update on it? Thank you so much for considering. Thanx! -Moochernum :smile |

What gave you the idea they wander like cats? I guess any Dog might wander if you let it. Your best bet is to do a google search and you will get pages of information...you can even try typing in various questions you have.
I know they are less high strung and needy than many toy breeds and do well competitively. I would also recommend picking up Dog books to get a real feel for the breed. |

I am not familiar with the breed but you can check akc.org for the breed standard. You can also google the breed and get some info there.
As for them wandering, any breed will wander if it is allowed to. |

the pappilon is a toy breed. no toy breed should be outdoors without constant supervision, period. they need to be on a leash, or you need to be with them in your yard even if you have a fence. so...the answer is, they will not wander, because you must not allow them to get out of your site, even for a second. did you know that hawks will come down and get them???? preditors can get in and get them, and thieves love to steal them....scared yet?? i hope not...its really quite simple!! good luck!! |
