puggles would be a beagle/pug mix...which would mean that they have a coat. loads of dander and shedding. why do you ask??? |

fur, and the common reason this is asked is allergy problems, no breed is hyperallerginic there are some that dont produce as much dander or the saliva protein as others that make them more tollerable. |

there is no difference between hair & fur - they both mean exactly the same thing |

if any Dog has loads of dander it is usually from a poor diet. ditto excessive shedding
then there are a couple health conditions that can cause it as well.

most people refer to dogs like yorkies and poodles to have hair because of the fine texture, fur is like your regular dog. People say those with hair are the non shedding breeds, which isnt true, they shed about the same as a human, as oposed to a corgie that will fill the house with fur to the point sometimes you can find enough to gather to make a new dog. |

Imho a Dog with "hair" will shed several single hairs where a Dog with "fur" will shed clumps of hair. But, yes, hair and fur are essentially the same thing.
I am wondering where the OP is going with the original question? |

i have had some responses to this from other people(not on this site, and not really breeders or such) but i will ask this :do dogs with 2 coats shed any more than others? the reason i ask is that mine doesn't seem to but i just wanted to ask. |
