other than intestinal blockage and a high risk of the Dog choking to death, oh and the toxins that are used to make those not in the usa they can be used, but supervision is a must with raw hides, same with greenies, both have pros and cons.
I like stuffing Kongs with freeze dried livers or the other freeze dried meats and organs you can buy almost anywhere now. I let my Puppies teeth on a frozen chicken breast.

Yes rawhide is bad for dogs. What about dried organic apples as a treat? Greenies and nylabones are just as hazardous. Boswer |

kongs are really good treats. Stuff it with organic peanut butter, yogurt, meat, or whatever your dog's heart content.
i usually don't give my Dog any treats but she'll get freeze dried liver treats every so often and also some canned pumpkin. |

Large amount can be but small amounts is harmless. Pumpkin is usually used for dogs/Puppies that have diarrhea. when my Dog was a puppy, i would give her small amounts of canned pumpkin puree to harden her stool. |

oh yeah that's true. fiber works in mysterious ways. Also, when constipated make sure your Dog has plenty of water.
