I hope I'm not chastised BUT I have a 3 year old female Min Pin who I had spayed at 6 or 7 months old. She had sucha hard time right after the surgery that she basically quite moving around much at all---well now she weighs 17 lbs (at last vet visit)--she looks like a little football with little stick legs! She really doesn't eat very much at all..she just doesn't move around enough! She can move and can run even--but she is so big she can't even scratch her back end! She just goes in circles trying to reach it!!!

Theres a tried and true saying in this, if your Dog is fat your not getting enough exercise.
If you Dog food has corn or wheat in it that can be a cause of it also. I would swtich to a home made cooked or raw diet for a little while. |

Miss, tell us exactly what you are feeding her. I'm pretty sure I can help you with several things but need info.
is she getting walks at all? if so for how long?
how often per day is she fed? or does she always have food down?
what do you give for treats? |
