I just got a new jack russel named maggie may.She is 4 inches and 1 ounce.she is very mellow,but loves to play hard.she isnt aggresive with other dogs,just like jacks ussualy are.she is brown and white,also!!!maggie may loves everybody!!!  |

Possibly 4 pounds instead of inches? 4 inches is not a very big Dog either. |

I have a jack russel and she is smart,yes they like to play hard but don't all dogs.mine is very sweet and loving,she know certain word like walk,doggy bone that's her treats,you want to go out to pee.when iam watching tv at night she will be on my lap then when i turn the tv off she'll jump off and head upstais she knows it's time for bed then she'll wait for me at the top of the stairs until i get up there.she loves to share a banana with me in the morning.and she knows where her doggy trats are.her name is lindsey,we almost lost her 2 yrs ago, we got her free and only had her for about 6mo.she was already 6yr old,well where we use to live we couldn't take her out to pee because there are or was we since moved but there was snakes in the yard and coyatoes(they already ate the neighbor dog)so we would take her out for walks and on the lesh in the morning right by our house well someone didn't want theese pitbulls they were loose they tore into my dog,my mother-in-law was with her scream for me I came running out push her out of the way and somehow manage to get them off my Dog but they tore uo her back really bad we took her to the vet and they fix her,and the pound caught thoose dogs and put them to alsleep,i also got bited.luckly she is ok now. |

I have a JRT sweety is now 14 years old and still plays ball and chases rabbits everyday. I think they are one of the best dogs out there. And it sounds like your baby is alot like sweety. So if you ever need any help feel free to contact me. |

she does sound cute.my friend who just recently got a jack (9 mo old) took him to the vet and the vet told her he would be a "tall" jack.i thought there was one ht for jacks and then they move up to parsons, just curious.he is the funniest thing when he runs.he tucks his butt down and just flys.my girl tries her best to keep up with him . |
