Has anyone ever heard of a product called worm clear? It is supposed to treat all worms. It is a powder that can be made into a paste or liquid. Does it work?

That is supposed to be a nautral product that treats Hook, Round and Tapeworms.
It doesnt treat whipworms. It takes is suposed to be given 3 times a day for 14 days.
I havent used this product so I cant comment on the effectiveness of the product. |

I heard that it can also be used to prevent heart worms. It sounds too good to be true.
Does anyone have experience with this new product called Worm Clear? |

i doubt if the vet will be able to answer your question on this particular product...however it really isnt worth the risk of not knowing it will prevent heartworm...you can purchase ivermectin and concoct your own monthly mixture which is also...supposed to treat for other worms also..but it would not be cost effective for you if you only have 1 or 2 dogs...panacur is the best wormer in my opinion...it will treat all worms other than tapes...and heartworms...ivermectin 1% is around 45.00 per bottle....it will last you for about 2 years or until the expiration date is up....you can mix it with liquid vitamins or cherry syrup once monthly per dog...so you can figure out if 45.00 is more cost effective for you than the heartguard..but....heart worm preventitive is VERY important!!! |

I haven't ever heard of this product but just got a phone call from someone trying to sell it to me on a promotion. They claim it comes in a powder form you mix up and will get rid of all types of worms including whip and both types of tape worms and can even be used as a montly heart worm preventative. I am a little bit learly as it really does sound too good too be true. |

you know, if you just keep the skeeters off the dog, you dont have to use so much toxins
I do not know this product but most of the natural rearer I know use diatomaceous Earth as a flea prevention and dewormer and use ground black walnut. Because I have had issues with hookworms and the natural path wasnt as effective with the heavy infestation I had I used drontel, but after I was able to get things under control the natural methods work quite well and I have not used any chemicals on the dogs since.
Im about to make a post on natural ways to prevent fleas, and will try to post about worms as well. |
