As a breeder, I welcome my future buyers to come and take a look at things. If there is something they don't like, okay. They all seem to understand that I have a lot to do with the Puppies and that even at a scheduled visit everything might not be perfect. It is kinda hard juggling Puppies and babies. I would totally understand if someone wanted to pop in and see what things were like when I haven't prepared for them. They are coming to see what is happening and what things look like at that time. They are expecting you to be in the middle of something. The person coming may have to wait for me to be able to get to them for a few minutes and I may only be able to give them a couple minutes of my time. They came to see what it is like and if I am on the way to the vet, I would spare 2 minutes to tell them and show them what they want to see. They will surely understand though that I can't spend a lot of time with them if they come without warning. |

Quote moggie: maligirl...im sure you will think this as a rude remark...and im sorry if you do as it is not meant to be this way...had you had an appointment at my house at a certain time..and chose to show... |
If you are that suspicious about a breeder why were you considering them? I bet the guy did think you were a little rude in doing that but of course he's not gonna say that, he wants to make a sale.
For out loud, it's not like checking up on a kid in daycare unanounced or something. |

Quote beaglebrat: Oh well that is a can of worms. My primary breed is and will always be Boxers. I have raised them for about 12 years.
I also raised Pugs for about 6 years, before I got out of Pugs and 2.5 years ago... |
Just curious what do you see as being the differences between the Tzu's and Yorkies temperament? I've often heard Tzu's are kinda lazy and laid back. |

Yorkies even though they are small they are still terriers. They were originally bred to be ratters so they have a strong will and a lot of spunk.
Shih Tzu's are more laid back little dust mops. They can be playful at times and yet they are content just to lay on your lap.
My Shih Tzu steals all the Dog toys and hoards them under our bed.
Different, but I love them both. None of the little dogs listen very well, but I think that is because mine are spoiled. |
