....last night i caught the end of a rachel ray cooking show about cat food...aparently a new high end pet food company is making natural foods for cats...since i only caught the end..this is what i saw and learned..they were putting raw chicken wings into tin cans..smashing them down to get as many in the can as they could...that was it for the chicken version...same with the beef...and they were stuffing small fish into the cans for the fish version...during the can processing...the bones are softened...vitamins and minerals are added...cats are true carnivors..dogs are not...they also gave a great idea...to place small amounts of food around the house in different places to keep the cats natural sense of hunting keen....

Do me a favor look up the word Dog and see the definition.
Even though it better than normal canned food its still cooked, which nutrition is still lost.
brandon farms has had canned chicken for dogs out for some time, its whole chicken and well water and thats it, the bones are ground fine so no risk. However I still dont feed it unless something is sick.

dogs have the same teeth and neck muscle set up as cats and are no more plant matter eaters than dogs.http://rawfed.com/myths/omnivores.html

This is a list of facts on that.

I am happy that word is getting out that our dogs need more than fortified corn

Why should bones be removed if they are served raw? raw bones are good for dogs.
