Hi, I Sptember 2007, I fostered and eventually kept permanently, an unwanted maltipoo which was shipped to the uk and placed in 6-months quarantine. He wasn't wanted and went into a normal kennel for a few weeks whilst the owners were traced. They didn't want him and had never bothered to visit him to see he was ok after a long flight from Texas or that he was settled. Anyway, what I wondered is whether or not to have him neutered. He has to stop off at every tree or post! Also he loves to engage with other dogs but when we go to walk away from them he becomes aggitated and barks and growls. He sounds aggressive but he isn't, he is quite submissive to them. Why does he behave this way? does anyone out there have a similar cross breed who can give me any advice. He is now approx 18 months old. |

Yes have him neutered. Then sign him up for puppy classes. |

by all means get him neutered.it will better for him in the long run and may(i say may) help with his temperment and health later on down the road.it might be too late to get him in puppy classes but it's not too late to get him in training classes.that also will help him and help you .good luck |

Get that Dog neutered. Trust me because I also have a mixed breed and she used to act like that until we went to the vet and got her neutered. But make sure yiu give it a few days for him to get used to it. He will be sore for a few days time. Also take him to some dig training classes. That will help you alot. But in the mean time I wish you good luck. |
