| Quote moggie: which one is in question here?? you are getting ready to make a long life commitment...from a breeder of whom you are afraid to ask questions or one who has left you clueless??? what is wrong with this... |
One of the things I used to try to impress on my students was that no question is a stupid question. Not asking it well that is another story.
That said I would like to tell you that the last part of your message was well done. You provided really useful information that can be turned into a check list when speaking to the breeder.
But I believe it would be a lot more helpful to leave out the you may not be mature enough to own a puppy. The fact that she is trying to find out all the information she can before getting a puppy bodes well for the future. We all had to start somewhere and at least she does not wish to go in blind.
There seem to be a lot of serious Dog owners in here so please use your knowledge to educate. You have the experience now put it to use to help others have a great life being owned by a pup.
There are far to many out there needing families and not enough loving, caring homes. So I am gonna jump on my bandwagon... Consider adopting a pet thousands are being euthanasied everyday all over the country. So adopt a Dog save a life.
