In what country do you live? The reason I ask is that I have never heard of "farex". Is this a brand of Dog food?

yes plse let us know what "farex" is than we can give you a better idea how to help you.as far as the bread and milk i don't think dogs can tolerate milk that well.i know in my experience most dogs get diarrhea when given just milk.i think the bread and biscuits have too much of a starch content for the dog.as a puppy they need protein.if you can you should be giving your puppy Dog food with plenty of protein and things that are good for your dog.good luck i hope all goes well. |

From what I could tell on the internet, OP is likely from the UK and Farex is a brand of babyfood cereal.
At 8 weeks your puppy needs to be on puppy food. It does NOT need human cereals and milk at this point.
You can supplement with a goat or puppy milk replacer if you want to, but a lab puppy should have PLENTY of teeth just to eat regular Dog food. Especially if you wet it down with a little warm water first.
Good luck with your new puppy. |

Make sure your pup is eating puppy food unil at least 9 months old, the you can switch to adult formula. When buying, look at the ingredients, the first ingredient should be lamb, chicken, beef etc not corn or by product. |

dogs/Puppies are lactose intolerant. do not feed your Dog cow's milk. you can supplement with goats milk but i don't see any health reasons why you should do so.
if you want to do a homemade diet than meat should be the primary ingredient. not bread/biscuit.

I think you meant lamb meal or chicken meal, not just lamb or chicken.
no corn, wheat or soy, by-products, or yeast
