DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS A NEW CURE OUT THERE FOR DEMODEX??? I FOUND OUT LAST WEEK!! I HAVE 2 MATESE Puppies FROM ANOTHER BREEDER ON BOARD AND I NOTICED HAIR LOSS AROUND THEIR EYES...I TOOK THEM IN FOR A SKIN SCRAPE...AND AS I SUSPECTED..A MANGE MITE WAS FOUND...I AUTOMATICALLY THOUGHT..OUCH..HERE WE GO WITH THE IVERMEC, DIPS, VITES, ETC...BUT...HE SUGGESTED A NEW SPOT ON (JUST LIKE FRONTLINE..BUT LESS EXPENSIVE) CALLED PROMERIS.IT IS TO BE PUT ON BI WEEKLY FOR A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES...I AM ALSO USING IVERMECTIN ..ORALLY...1 20TH CC OR .20 2X PER WEEK...THE DIFFERENCE IS PHENOMINAL IN ONLY A WEEK...THE SKIN HAS CLEARED AND THERE IS NEW HAIR GROWTH....I WILL DO THIS TREATMENT EXACTLY AS I WAS TOLD...THE VETERINARIAN SAYS THIS IS NOT ONLY A TREATMENT..IT IS A CURE...THE dogs CAN BE ADDES TO A BREEDING PROGRAM AFTER TREATMENT..HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT CHOOSE TO DO THIS, BUT I AM ANXIOUS TO KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE...WE MAY JUST SEE AN END TO DEMODECTIC MANGE!!!!

there are many ways to treat demo, most show promise just a change in diet and different immunity boosters. Nustock has a great product out too that is a natural way to treat it without all those harsh toxic drugs. You can cover up the issue but untill you take care of the whole problem which is the shot immune system there really cant ever be a true cure, all dogs have those mites on them, however their immune system keeps them in check because its healthy |

yes...you are right...but...my vet is telling me this is not just merely a treatment...it is a cure...we shall see..i fully understand that this is somewhat linked to a shot immune system..but...if this is the case..then tell me this...a puppy born via c section to a bitch carrying the demodex mite....will not contract it...so...if the puppy were to be born c section and then nursed by a serrogant mother...then..this particular puppy would not carry the demodex mite....PLEASE!!!!! explain then how would the immune systems function have anything to do with demodectic mange??? if you have this answer...please explain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Ok, are you sure your not meaning scarptic mange?
demodectic mites are something most dogs carry, it is those with a weaker immune system that can not ward off these mites. Some dogs can seemingly full recovery however any point of stress which lowers the immune system can cause a re infestation. The problem with the red mange is the fact it could go dormant for a while but it could never truley go away. Now prehaps some harsh drug has been made that can kill every single one, if so congrats to man to make another poison to put on our pets to cure something that can be done naturally but man would be inferior to nature and thats not acceptable. A good diet, some immune boosters and the nustock is non invasive and works, sometimes a raw diet alone will unsupress the immune system. We keep finding ways to kill the bugs that bother us and our pets both real bugs and virus and bacterial, and they come back as super bugs. When in fact we should be caring for our bodies so that they are strong enough to take care of themselves. You have to put all the pices in the puzzle together to have a complete picture. |
