My neighbors have been a pain since the beginning, but we've put up with them. But, yesterday we had a pearl party, and my grandma was there with her Puppies that she's selling. (PLEASE no comment, on that part). And my neighbors who haven't been able to pay their rent or pay for food, cause they don't work, and they got one of the Puppies. They are unable to pay for the Dog at this time, nor so they have money to pay for food. The pup hasn't had it's shots yet, and you can bet that it's not going to get those either. I'm not trying to be nosey, or rude, but I'm worried about the dog. Any help?

I really don't know what you want us to say. Your grandmother sold them the pup, talk to her.

your Grandma probably wont want to confront them. we threatened our neighbour with the police who was really cruel to his dog. we now have her and he got fined only! if you see them really neglecting the puppy suggest to let you have him back! it might be a relief to them. most people dont realise what Puppies really need or how expensive they are.

If they cannot pay for rent or food and do not work, how did they afford the pup to begin with? Why did your grandmother sell to these people? Doesn't she screen buyers or does she sell to anyone with a buck? Sounds like grandma is a BYBer.

honestly your grandmother shouldnt have sold it to them in the first place..and you knowing how these people are and there situation shouldnt have let her sell it to them..but now that they already have the Dog with out being rude just try and talk to them and ask how the Puppies doing..if he has food and stuff he needs and if he's gone to the vet..which you know he hasnt but if they say no ask them why and if they do mention the $ just try and tell them in a poliet way that they puppy is very young and needs to go get his shots so if they can not afford it you wouldnt mind taking it into your care and giving it what it needs and of course they can see it and what not.

this part of your post is excellent, but you should have stopped while you were ahead.

why should the OP be expected to take on this responsibility - this is rediculous advice.

granny "sold" them the Dog knowing they couldn't afford anything. she is the irresponsible one here.

okay well befor you go knocking anybodys advice..i didnt read anything about the grandmother knowing about the family's situation..did you? She might have thought this would be a good home but the poster of this topic said that she did know about their situation so although it may not have been her responsibility she cares enough now to try and help this puppy so she should have done something befor the puppy was put into this type of home.

It is the grandmothers responsibility to ask about the family's situation before making the sale. It is up to her to ask for references and follow through with checking them out. First being the granddaughter as she seems to know their situation.

My question is "Why wasn't the OP there with this information on the neighbors BEFORE grandma considered them as owners?"

the key words here are...your grandmother sold them the pup yesterday....im assuming you wrote this post the following day since you did say the grandmother sold the unemployed neighbors a puppy YESTERDAY!! you go on to say the pup has not had its shots??? why??? if granny sold the puppy yesterday...it should have already had 2 vaccines before being sold...surely since it was sold yesterday...it isnt due for a shot today...if so..granny shouldnt be breeding or selling Puppies...they cannot feed this puppy?? well...granny sold it yesterday...did she not give a food sample to the neighbor with the puppy?? this whole post sounds awfully suspicious to me...im leaning to the entire fault lying on greedy granny...heres my advice...dont invite granny to anymore pearl parties..dont invite the neighbors to any pearl parties..dont have anymore pearl parties...did you sell any pearls or just Puppies.? and...run some good quality puppy food over to your neighbor and mind your own business

yea a clue that maybe the grandmother didnt know about but the granddaughter did, hows that? with your snippy attitude

this whole post and forums becomes so ridiculous with attacking other people and thier opinions.

whatever the case was or may be now doesnt matter..what is, is that the Dog is in a home which is not good..and although this may be "grannys" responsibility the granddaught cares enough to try and help the Dog now and she asked for advice on what to do

so instead of everyone focusing on whos fault it is or was they should focus on the present problem because the past part is over and your not changing it now

i invited my loser neighbor who i put up with and has no money and doesnt work to my pearl party. i also invited my puppy toting granny who peddles Puppies without permission, shots, or food. can you believe she showed up unexpected with a litter of Puppies and ruined my chances of selling any pearls because all of the guests left with unvaccinated, hungry Puppies..and on credit to boot...i tried to tell granny about the financial status of my loser neighbor..but i couldnt because i got a piece of party cake stuck in my throat and couldnt open my mouth and TALK!!!!!

Exactly why I cried So funny how some will go on and on with these tall tales. There has even been similar little stories told by other little kids LMAO! I guess it keeps the boredom at bay if nothing else and the OP never even comes back to open thier mouth but that is probably next

Guys, I don't even CARE if you're mad at me! I tried to say something to my grandma, and she gave them 2 weeks. She did give them food, she was having me puppy sit, she was GOING to take them to the vet the next day, the neighbors said that they would get everything takin' care of, and they gave the Dog to their 4 year old son's b- day for a gift!

Does that clear anything up?!

Look, I know you didnt want any comments about your grandma selling Puppies. but this is BAD. Do you honestly believe she is a reputable breeder when she sells Puppies to people who cant pay for their own rent, let alone the puppy's needs?

This isn't fair to that poor dog. You should take him back and get the entire litter SPAYED/NEUTERED.

(spelling errors? correct me)

The pups are a mixture of miniature schnauzers, and a japenes chin, and a chinese crested. The pups were born on Christmas eve. I was puppysitting because I wanted to get to see the pups, and because my grandma was going to go to town, 30 minutes away, and I thought that it would be cool to get to see the Puppies for a long time.

The neighbors seem to have gotten their heades on straight, and they have gotten the shots, who knos how, and they have gotten lots of food and water supplied for the puppie. Thanks for encouraging me to help!

P.S. tomorrow I'm having a Pearl Party!
