hi, i don't want this to sound strange but here goes.my Dog got spayed 3wks ago.i know in the human female there can be a change as far as moods and stuff goes.but now my little girl seems to be just a tad more touchy as far as her little friend goes.i mean they still play good and roughhouse but if he tries to get boy friendly she snaps at him.she didn't before(he's fixed).is this normal? i have never had a female Dog before,so that's why i'm asking |

sounds like he is displaying dominance behavior which she is not happy about.
he should see you as alpha & then who is next? if it is him then treat him as such.

i kind of figured that's what it was but was curious.i guess i should also mention that before she was spayed he also tried(never got anywhere near the mark) and she didn't really stop him.but now she is a lot more testy about it. thanks |
