Have any of you heard of the "ugly Dog contest"? Its a contest where owners enter photos of their dogs to see which is the ugliest.
I think its kind of sad that anyone would do that... In my opinion, everyone should treat their Dog like they are beautiful. Even if the Dog is ugly. |

Ok, so have you ever seen an ugly Dog contest? I have and everyone in the one I saw had the mentality, "My Dog is so ugly he's cute!" They love their dogs, and most times they weren't actually "ugly", but dressed up in funny ways. One man put a gray wig, and an "old lady" dress on his bulldog. There were also a lot of mixed breeds in it, so it was a way for their owners to show of their Dog in a contest. I've only seen one so I can't say they are all done by loving owners, but this one was for sure. By the way a "nerd" Dog won, so it was about the costume more than the dog, because like you said all dogs are beautiful, and they knew it too. But that was just my experience with one show... |

I have seen a show one animal planet about that. I think all dogs are pretty. |

I have seen it and there are some seriously ugly dogs in it. Yes some were so ugly they were cute. But how can you say a Dog is beautiful when it has 3 teeth and his tongue hanging out the side? It is nasty looking, but kinda cute. They are just making lemonade after being thrown lemons!
