Not to offend but since you asked, I thought it really SUCKED! You can get a Beagle super cheap, they take no work to groom, they are not sought after in the least other than for hunting, and they all look like the standard unless they are fat, lol! I am starting to think these shows are all kind of hokey when that Poodle won best in toy again. Cmon beautiful Dog but really give someone else a chance. I can see why the show world gets the rep they do. Well at least they did something different and unexpected...kinda a sign of the times, like the world is slowly going to h*ll in a handbasket! |

The Beagle had just as much right to win as any other breed. Honestly, once you get past judging classes of the same breed, I think the whole thing is a bunch of hooey.
All showing is based on the judges INTERPRETATION of the breed standard(s). |

I so agree with you, and they have a right, I just don't think it was the right decision but JMO. |

On behalf of the Beagle, I've seen alot of them... But Uno was GEORGOUS! I was disappointed with the Working Dog Decision, and was surprised the Viszla didn't place better in the Sporting Group. But I'm not the judge. I'm tired of poodles winning though, They aren't a breed that is bred for the mainstream group of people, so that breed is all really standard, I want a more exciting dog. I loved the Weim and Beagle moving on to the main show! |

Uno is one beautiful beagle. Did you see how graceful he was? Wow. I was so proud of the Weim as well!
