just because YOU don't know what lupus is doesn't mean other people don't.how incredibly rude of you to post something like that.this person was asking for help not to be told not to post.THINK before you post. |

I have never had a Dog with it, but my mom's friend just had an 8 year old GSD diagnosed with it. It's not good for that dog, they might have to put her down. She went from healthy to deathly ill in just a few weeks. |

How is he now? Its a good thing your vet caught it right away. Puppies usually get it between 4 weeks to 4 months how old is your puppy? Its mostly the swelling of lymph nodes in the neck thus the term puppy strangles. Is he walking ok usually the lymph glands swells on the leg. Is he taking corticosteroid and antibiotics? i hope everything works out for the best! He is young he will bouncing like nothing ever happened before you know it. Make sure the puppy is hydrated. my friend actually got cellulitis from her cat but a different kind sorry just had to tell that story it haunted me when i was younger her arm doubled in size! |
